Today is my 27th birthday and it is like no other one before, for many different reasons. This is the first time that I had to be reminded that I had a birthday only a couple of weeks ago, the first time that I did not have a birthday list for presents, and the first time that I can report about it on a blog read by so many people. So now that today is my day, I will share with you guys some of the blessings (and presents) I will be receiving:

• Kindle Touch
  This is the gift from my wife to me. As I said, I did not have a birthday list of presents and she came up with this idea herself. I am excited about this because I will hopefully get more into reading the latest books as well as the fact that I will be saving a significant amount of money on my seminary books! When I receive it, I will be giving a product review as soon as possible.
• iPhone 4S
  This is a gift to myself financially supported by the guest posts I have been writing. This will be my first iPhone and my first non-blackberry smartphone, so hopefully some more exciting stuff to come from it.
• Canon Rebel T3i
  This is both my birthday and Christmas present wrapped up into one from my parents. You have already seen a video from it and we love it. I hope to utilize everything I can out of it and improve my photography techniques. (All the constructive criticism is welcome!)
• A Baby On The Way
  This is obviously God’s gift to us and the one that I am cherishing the most. I am both happy that it is not here so that it will have a healthier birth as well as anxious to feel it kick (we just spent 15 minutes hoping I would feel that first one) and eventually hold him or her in my arms.

I truly am blessed by those in my life and am looking forward to all of the joys that year 27 bring with it.
